We work with fashion designers to select the best quality, ethical production, and function driven clothes 

And we take the responsibility of arrangement, delivery, and cleaning.

To make sure our users could have a flexible, adaptable, and light travel experience.

We aim to provide travelers a flexible, adaptable and light travel experience by using quality and functional driven clothes, and take care of the arrangement and delivery.

Mobile first website design is more exposable in the early stage and more approachable when traveling. There are introduction videos and and step by step guidance, and I use "Let's pack" to immerse the travel experience

CREATE TRIPS

Instead of showing the clothes pool like online shopping sites, I continue on the travel plan flow to enhance the whole experience. Starting with creating the upcoming trip, set up the delivery locations and delivery dates.  

I tested this online shopping-like design with target audiences and found out this actually confused them and set the wrong expectations, so I realized that I have to stick with the core concept - travel.  

PROFILE &
AIR SUITCASE

The system then generate the trip profile with related information. Click "Pack" to start the journey with selecting the visual suitcases. The green boxes are the unit that represent the spacing.

I had this design that having user assign the items to specific days in order to easily manage and deliver, but it turned out I had created an unfamiliar interaction that against their natural behaviors. Finally, I design this air suitcase idea and using space unit instead to price. 

" I don’t really know which clothes I will wear for any specific day except for certain events. That is not how I pack, and it could be an extra burden for me to decide that at this stage "

PICK CLOTHES

Sticking with the idea of helping travelers to overcome the inconveniences, I categorized the clothes by the activities that travelers might have during the trip. And there is a backup feature allows user to pick one more size of the same item.

Picking functional clothes base on activities makes user focus more on the trip than styling themselves.

Make sure it always fit. TraveLight will ship both items to the user and record the data and advice user in the future.

CHECK OUT

Double check with the information and items then check out. There is a suggestion note for the clothing based on the weather or travel conditions before pay.

The system reminder

  • Lighten the luggage, reduce the physical burden when moving around.
     

  • Save the check-in baggage fee, the airline charges $50-100 for extra check-in baggage.
     

  • Clothes don't get wrinkled in the suitcase, not worrying about running out of suitcase space anymore.
     

  • Enjoying the trip and stop worrying about the clothes!

TraveLight will notify users the delivery progressions, which gives user the feeling of secure and connected. Users can always go to the site and check the details.    

WARDROBE EMERGENCY

TraveLight provides the emergency delivery option which  allows user to rent the clothes in a short time to adapt to any unexpected  occasion during the trip. The service is counted by item peceies and emergency level.

KEEP WHAT YOU LIKE

At the end of the trip, users could pay the discounted price and bring the clothes home. Instead of spending only few minutes trying out the clothes in the fitting room and find out it's not the right fit after bringing them home, we gives you the whole day trying!

TRAVEL LIGHT HOME

Leaving the rest of clothes in the room. The service will go pick them up. All you have to do is go home with satisfied experience.
